The International Summer School (ISS) at the University of Oslo has offered summer courses since 1947. In 2011 the ISS welcomed 611 students from over 90 countries to six intensive weeks of learning. The application deadline for scholarship applicants is 1 February 2012. The courses run from 23 June - 3 August 2012.
