Embassy

The Government of the Kingdom of Norway and the United Republic of Tanzania established diplomatic relations more than 30 years ago and the two countries have ever since enjoyed cordial relationship. The Norwegian Embassy in Tanzania is responsible for carrying out official and diplomatic communication between the two governments, as well as overseeing development co-operation between Norway and Tanzania.

The Embassy is based in the Tanzanian commercial capital of Dar es Salaam and is one of the biggest Norwegian embassies abroad.
